Betwixt & Between
I, like many of you, use blogger. As most know there were issues last week. Most folks posts were reposted but unfortunately for me, mine was one that well... wasn't. So here it is again, mostly in pictures because I really don't remember exactly what I wrote!
The days here have gone back and forth, between nice and sunny, then back to rain.
We're all a little unsure of ourselves...
Even the seagulls seem to be confused.
I do remember, I ended with letting you know that I'm feeling a little betwixt and between.... stuck in the middle... perhaps even riding on a see saw.
Thanks to all that commented on the original post... those were "lost" too.
As always, thanks for stopping by and I'll have an "original" up soon!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photographs. Such a great photograph of the seagulls on the barn! Visiting from Cottage Flora!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are at least seeing a little color and some blooms...Spring is about over here in FL as our temps are working their way into the 90's each day...Soon it will be to hot to enjoy the garden for most of the day...I hope you find your spring soon.

So glad you linked up to Cottage Flora Thursday's! This weather is crazy, I have to laugh a bout how pretty it was here yesterday - my daughter came home & immediately put on her swimsuit & played outside all evening...today we were snuggled up with blankets on the couch! Lol I enjoyed seeing Your pops of color in your garden! Hopefully we'll see more sunshine soon! xoxo, tracie
ReplyDeleteI love the sun setting between the trees!!
ReplyDeleteI love the Creeping Charlie on the bricks. We have had an unusual Spring as well. It's normally quite warm here by now but lately, we're barely making it to the low 70's. We're expecting heavy rain this weekend, right when the majority of my peonies are blooming, sigh.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
I wish we would get some rain here. So far our Spring has been a little wetter than usual but rain is always welcome. I love your little paper pots...very cleaver!
ReplyDeleteWere in the very same place up here - neither winter nor summer and definitely not the sort of spring we usually get! Everything is cold and sodden - I'm ready for some sunshine!
ReplyDeleteYou have a gorgeous place, and the color will come, it always does. But I know how you feel, it's been a dismal spring in the midwest also. And now it feels as though we have just slammed into summer. High temps and humidity. Thanks for stopping by the Cottage,I'm a new follower.

I had a comment for you last night before bed, mostly complaining about our wet NW spring and when I went to post it, Blogger was down for repairs...probably best. It is promising to see your cosmos up and looking good. I just got my seeds yesterday..I sure hope we get an Indian Summer to help finish things up that are going in late.
ReplyDeleteWe are in different locations, but I know what you mean. Luckily we had a few days of sunshine and some bulbs popping up to brighten our days a bit. Thanks for the kind comments.
ReplyDeleteSEnd me some of that rain. I'm praying for it here. Your pops of color add to the landscape. You are right that is a little creepy with the birds all lined up... I too was affected by the movie... for so many years I could smell them coming. Not that the movie had a smell but there was a smell in the air that night at the drive in theater. I still get creepy watching the old black and white movie.
ReplyDeleteI think one day we are going to just wake up to summer...cuz this spring sucks!
ReplyDeleteJokers to the left of me, clowns to the right....
ReplyDeleteI'm stuck in the middle with you.
And if I find the escape hatch, I'll let you know. : )
Loved your post, and especially the bird photo! I understand your frustration. Hope things clear up for you soon and that you end up with a very sunny spring! It has been the opposite here - very dry with us betwixt and between worrying about a drought and hand-watering the plants!
ReplyDeleteI was a very young girl when I saw that Hitchcock movie, and for years, I was scared to death when flocks of birds flew overhead. The funny thing is, now I love, love, love birds. ;)
ReplyDeleteYour blooms are beautiful and the mossy brick is so charming. Thanks for linking to the party, Chris.
