meeting miss bee, I think you're going to LOVE her!

Just this past Tuesday morning this little miss was born... just a few days ahead of schedule.

She pretty much slept through out our visit... barely able to open up those little eyes and when she did it was for just a second or two.

We were fortunate to be able to leave work and head south just a few hours after she was born to meet sweet little Miss Bee.  Miss Bee will be the name I use on the ole blog since her parent's wish to keep her name off social media as much as possible... Since the name does start with a "b" I thought Miss Bee would be a good fit.

Of course we're pretty much thinking she's the cutest baby ever.

And I think her parent's agree.

Miss Bee headed home on Wednesday in the same little red dress that her mama and I wore home from the hospital some 26 and 49 years ago, respectively.

She was 7 lbs 5 oz but still looks so very tiny in this car seat!  And wasn't too thrilled to be buckled in... or maybe she wasn't liking the vintage fashion statement she was making.

Either way, after a long (3 1/2 minute) car ride from the hospital to home, she seems pretty happy to be there.  Looking pretty relaxed, wouldn't you agree?

And this new grandparent, well I'm looking forward to our next visit already, since she and her parents live 1 1/2 south of me!
