Hello sunshine
This past weekend was the Pacific Northwest at it's best. The sun was out, the weather was mild. A faint tinge of wood smoke was in the air... I spent the weekend puttering. Did some errands in JUST a sweater, worked in my flower beds, cleaned house a bit, read. The perfect weekend after so many months of not spending much time at home.
I bought daffodils at the store, 3 bunches for $3.99.
More and more bits of green are peaking up.
Even the dogs got in on soaking up some sunshine.

Very sunny photos. Lucky duck, we were rainy here in New England.
ReplyDeleteOh that sounds and looks wonderful!! I can't wait until I can see some green and go out without a big heavy coat! So glad that you had a beautiful weekend!
ReplyDeleteIt rained here on Sat. and we even got some more snow, but the sunshine today melted it all away. Lucky you. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteSunny pictures! We got snow.... again....
ReplyDeleteJust waiting, and waiting...
Thanks for sharing!

The sun is here - it's just sometimes hard to find it!
ReplyDeleteDreamy!
ReplyDeleteToday I went on my first walk in ages. It made it to forty degrees which was good enough for me. I inspected my flower beds on the way back in and they are still in lock down mode - smart cookies!
Glad you enjoyed your puttery weekend, Chris!
Loved the sun. It was like therapy!
ReplyDeleteWarm and pretty photos, it makes me want to saok up in sunshine too since its been only rain and cold here.
ReplyDeleteSounds like the perfect weekend to me! Here is what you conveniently missed, now that you're home ~ mild weather, yes, on Saturday, actually rained HEAVY all day and then BOOM, Saturday night, a huge snowstorm. Sunday morning required hours of snow shovelling and once the top layer of snow was removed, we had thick ice to contend with the rest of the day! So, needless to say, ENVY! (lol) It's amazing how a little warmth and sunshine can go such a loooong way!
ReplyDeleteThe sun being out makes all the difference in the world, even if it's cold outside! Your sunshiney photos are making me very happy this cloudy morning!
ReplyDeleteSounds like the perfect weekend! Love your photos. I hope our flowers will be peeking up soon, I have mixed colors of Daffodils in my gardens and Hyacinths! Have a great day !
ReplyDeleteI'm loving having all the spring flowers in bloom. Just makes the days so much better!
ReplyDeleteAh...there she is soaking up the sunshine.
