Hello sunshine

This past weekend was the Pacific Northwest at it's best.  The sun was out, the weather was mild.  A faint tinge of wood smoke was in the air...  I spent the weekend puttering.  Did some errands in JUST a sweater, worked in my flower beds, cleaned house a bit, read.  The perfect weekend after so many months of not spending much time at home.

I bought daffodils at the store, 3 bunches for $3.99.

More and more bits of green are peaking up.

Even the dogs got in on soaking up some sunshine.

  6. Dreamy!
Today I went on my first walk in ages. It made it to forty degrees which was good enough for me. I inspected my flower beds on the way back in and they are still in lock down mode - smart cookies!
Glad you enjoyed your puttery weekend, Chris!

  9. Sounds like the perfect weekend to me! Here is what you conveniently missed, now that you're home ~ mild weather, yes, on Saturday, actually rained HEAVY all day and then BOOM, Saturday night, a huge snowstorm. Sunday morning required hours of snow shovelling and once the top layer of snow was removed, we had thick ice to contend with the rest of the day! So, needless to say, ENVY! (lol) It's amazing how a little warmth and sunshine can go such a loooong way!
