Being thankful, a time to reflect....
Like many of us, I have much to be thankful for... a roof over my head on a chilly November morning.
A warm and cozy place under that roof....
A place to grow my own food...
With enough to share...
A place for the three meals a day that we don't go without...
Family, including a son that appreciates the past...
a daughter and her guy that don't live in the chilly spot far across the continent... in another country anymore, but are just a car ride away....
A husband that can fix or build anything...
including this eyesore, transformed inside and out...
Coke, in a glass, with ice... I'm just keeping it real here...
My new espresso maker that once again produces...
these daily at about 5:15 am...
For the memory of my flower gardens outside...
as well as this current bit of flowering, inside, for the holidays.
Thanksgiving is a good time to reflect on what last year brought us...
And perhaps a bit of dreaming of the year to come...
Happy Thanksgiving. May yours be filled with family, friends, food and lots of new memories.
Happy Thanksgiving! From the sight of the frost on the lawn I'd say you'll be needing that wonderful fireplace a lot!!
