Peach Palace Update... day 40

Yep, I can't believe it's been 40 days already.  We're getting there slowly, but surely.  We've got a few rooms that are almost done.  Just smaller projects left to complete.  I was hoping the half bath would be finished but there was an "incident" with the existing toilet when it was removed to put in our new $9.63 floor.  It broke.

So now we're shopping for a replacement toilet and still need a mirror.  And to put the room back together.  So far we:

removed several wall cabinets, not really sure what those were all about;

painted the cabinet a lovely shade of tan and replaced the hardware, put in the previously mentioned bargain floor;

removed yucky fake wall panels;

sheetrocked, taped and mudded walls;

primed and painted a fabulous shade of aquaish, greyish, greenish, bluish (didn't photograph very true to color);

installed a ceiling light and a fan (and the electrical wiring needed to power both), replaced the vanity/wall light fixture, replaced yucky-ugly toilet seat from toilet (before it broke).

Still need to replace the toilet, add a mirror, put back the existing vanity top, replace the faucet with freebie, put a up a new bronze towel hook and toilet paper holder.  Then at least one room will be done.

Almost the holiday (Veteran's Day that is),

  4. Wow ... do you guys ever have 'vision'. When I look at the 'before' pictures I can't get my head around just how yucky this bathroom looked but the 'after' photos are phenomenal! You've all worked so hard and have done an amazing job on the Peach Palace!
