The Beautiful Pacific Northwest
I usually feel fortunate to live in the Pacific Northwest. Typically our weather is mild, summer or winter. However, I just started a week of vacation and for the past few days we've had a heat wave. Yesterday, it was 86 degrees in the shade at 10:30 am. I know, I know, some of you in hotter parts are thinking WHAT?? You call that a heat wave? Yep, we do. When our average high is at most 75, this is a heat wave. Today is supposed to hit the mid 90's, cooling tomorrow to the mid-high 80's... back to normal by the middle of the week.
That said, I live between the water and the mountains. Most of you don't have this to the east...
this to the west... I'll put up with the heat wave, it'll be over before you know it and we'll be back to our mild weather. I wouldn't live any place else.

Your post made me think of my visual to both the east and west and what I see is my neighbours' homes, up close and personal. Your panoramic view is simply divine!

Beautiful pictures! Makes me miss home...
ReplyDeleteHmm... I think we used to live very close to each other!! I really miss that view. The view from our current condo in BC is nice, but not quite as captivating as a snow-peaked Mt. Baker!
