Memories of a beautiful summer

As the days grow shorter and we ease into Autumn, I thought I'd share some summer memories...

cherries

finally, flowers on my clematis

peonies, enough said

happy pink gerbera daisies

my fav, raspberries

what's summer without sweet peas

love the late evening light

Bellingham Bay

my new, free, windmill

my finished dining room cabinet

poor little peach tree, bending under all that weight

Burgermaster, best old fashioned, greasy burgers on the planet (and it's a drive-in, eat in your car kind of place)|

flowers at the garden center

Summer may be short, but it sure is sweet.

  1. Those are all lovely, happy memories. Summer is a great season, almost a slower paced time. We too have an unbelievable burger place that we discovered and visited quite often this summer. It's not a drive-in but you do sit and eat in your vehicle. Ahhhh, the season is so fleeting but maybe that's why we "stop and smell the roses" and cherish it so much while it's upon us.

  4. Chris, thanks for the little journey into your summer season! I envy you so much of that. Living in AZ we don't get all of it...but I really felt like I was there with you! Lovely.
    Cherries and peonies please!
